hate when i'm reading something and i find the first note in the text, scan to the bottom of the page, only to find that there is nothing there, and it's an endnotes situation instead

I have heard that lots of people use the app GPT-Zero for checking student's papers for AI-generated writing. But, does anyone know if this is actually reliable? How well does it actually work in your experience? Are there other better AI-checker apps out there?
