No, I’m vegetarian. Tbh I didn’t eat anything while I was there, but I tried some cider that made me decide I like cider again 👍

the other option is using a pin to secure the fold. This I’ve seen much more often in current regional outfits, but I’m hesitant to do it because idk. I don’t like the idea of puncturing the hat! I know wool is supposed to be ok with that kind of thing but it’s just a peeve of mine

The best thing about it besides that it’s long and warm is that when you roll or fold it you can also position it like a visor to shield your eyes from the sun. Was doing that at the evening joust event as the sun was setting
