Seeing The Pogues at the Wiltern in 2007 with a very drunk Shane MacGowan in a bathrobe and sombrero was something I will never forget. Forever in my top 10 greatest songwriters of the 20th Century. Long live Irish punk rock in 1980s. Long live Shane. Fairytale of New York will never sound the same.
