I’m staring at this chair in a waiting room. The more I look at it, the more it’s making me feel agitated. Is it just me? #mtbos #iteachmath

Playing Mastermind with my 6 year old inspired me to make this in #Desmos. I discovered I'm a lot worse at guessing than I thought! #MTBoS #iteachmath classroom.amplify.com/activity/687...

I just made a #Zukei puzzle template with correctness check in #desmos. It's fairly easy to create additional problems with it. I'll use some puzzles like this in next week's coordinate geo unit. #MTBoS #iteachmath ♾️ teacher.desmos.com/activitybuil...

Here's a linear programming activity I've been iterating on in #desmos. It's intended as a scaffold for students to practice writing inequalities and the profit function to model the situation. It's a challenge to fit it all onto one screen. ♾️ #MTBoS #iteachmath

I wanted to share this Master's thesis written by Ethan Merlin (who I've never been able to locate to properly express my appreciation!). ♾️ #MTBoS #iteachmath #mathsky A 🧵 👇

I'm working on graphing linear inequalities now. I've needed to emphasize the graph-algebra connection. I started with only non-strict problems for a couple days. Then I introduced the idea of the dashed boundary line with this sequence. I thought it worked well! (see presenter notes) bit.ly/40E47YF

Ohio Jones...I made this many years ago after a particularly hard time in my life. This was a part of trying to get myself back on track again. I think about that every time I use this, and it's that time of year again. drive.google.com/file/d/17xd6...
