I love the Dust Wife, and had so much fun with the cosplay! Many fans of the book recognized her, and I gave out lots of the tiny books my friend made to people who wanted to remember the book to read later.

Also, I had *no* idea how many chicken enthusiasts there would be at DragonCon.

The demon chicken was popular and developed its own following, so by the end of con I was mainly the chicken’s manager 😂

Nettle and Bone was my first Kingfisher book and it has a permanent spot in my heart, especially Dustwife and Bonedog. This was super fun to make and wear!
