This is happening TODAY.

@phoenix-rights.bsky.social’s workshops are incredibly popular for several reasons: one, they’re obviously timely + useful, and two, she is an excellent communicator who has firsthand experience with facilitating these processes.
TOMORROW:
HYBRID NAME CHANGE CLINIC!

We’ll be in person at Family Tree Clinic (1919 Nicollet Ave) and register online at bit.ly/AprilGenderClinic

This clinic is free to attend and for those seeking name and gender marker changes in MN

Never really appreciated before today that in "The Boy Who Cried Wolf", everyone lost when the wolf killed the sheep.
Anyway I ignored my cat yowling like he does many mornings only to come downstairs and find he was sick in 5 places on the carpet.

I wonder how much of the unfittingly repulsive ads I see are due to targeting nonsensical demographics vs. how much is it due to every *other* advertiser not wanting to market their products to certain groups so the only ones that remain are targeting everyone 🧵

Went to see a live production of The Little Mermaid. Good vocal talent, loved the use of wire work for swimming, was not expecting a tap number. Ugly cried at one of the stage-only songs If Only, Ariel's lines hit very close to home

First time doing a combined randomizer of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. I've cleared 3 dungeons and explored half of both games and still haven't found the Kokiri sword.

I've been struggling in #Balatro. The last time I sought advice online I basically got "yeah, that is tough. Restart until you get better starting jokers, good luck!" but didn't think to ask Bluesky. Anyone got tips or strategies for beating green stake?

For the second year in a row weekly events will result in me being out of the house on Halloween. Feel like I'm letting potential trick-or-treaters down somehow

I keep telling myself to check out more music from artists I've heard one or two songs from, but never do because the known is easier. Just heard a "new" song from one such band that came out 11 years ago and my jaw dropped. Got a lot of catching up to do!

Will Ferrell has an enormous audience of straight dudes who need to hear this. Nothing but facts here about anti-trans bigotry:

I read this post a while ago and it has stuck with me as a perfect description of the difficulty of knowing our own desires. I hope eggs and closeted trans people and those afraid to begin transition read it, because it offers a beautiful analysis of what I think so many are struggling with. 4/4

Finished a Scooby-Doo themed escape room with the family, had clues from the official voice actors even! I thought the room was very engaging, the main difficulty seemed to be getting everyone to communicate on the same wavelength.

The Yeti mic was "fine" when it launched but there are so many better mics out there now. Yet they still sell it and websites still recommend it. It is the bane of podcast producers everywhere. For god's sake, do not buy a Yeti Mic. For @aftermath.site aftermath.site/dont-buy-a-y...

Saw Little Shop of Horrors on stage for the first time. Only ever seen the movie before, surprised by the adaptation's changes. The cast and crew knocked it out of the park, the moving set pieces were delightful and every song was as good as I'd hoped.
