I've been listening to "Prick up your ears" for forty years and I've only realised today that there's no chords in it, just single guitar notes, and the bass is static except for an octave jump.

Blog update: Fuzzbox topped the indie charts with the "Rules and Regulations" EP in May 1986, a record which completely failed to suggest their future direction, though was the closest anyone's come to Riot Grrrl so far. All journalists wanted to know was when they were going to learn how to play.
