If folks take one thing from today's story, let this be it: the damage is already done. There's now little incentive for candidates to concede defeat in future elections and ample opportunity to wrongly challenge voters who followed all rules at the time of an election. #ncpol

I'm blocking these people on sight now.

Senator Thom Tillis personally assured Danielle Hegseth that if she signed a sworn-statement about her former brother-in-law’s conduct that it would carry weight and could lead him, Murkowski, and Collins to vote NO on Pete Hegseth’s nomination.

He then became the 50th century to vote YES.

Under threats from President Trump the NYT writes a headline that paints him in the best of light. Colombia reportedly accepted the deportees after *its* demands were met
Under threats from President Trump that included steep tariffs, President Gustavo Petro of Colombia relented and will allow U.S. military planes to fly deportees into the country, after turning two transports back in response to what he called inhumane treatment.

this is gonna be the way things work over the next few years- the admin getting like 1% of what it wants and losing almost every negotiation while the lapdog press spins every loss as a huge historic win, it's literally the modi model
Let me get this straight. Petro calls for dignified transit. Trump threatens tariffs. Petro smacks Trump in a post threatening his own higher tariffs. And Trump agrees to what Petro asked for. And yet NYT is calling this *Petro* backing down?

Who are the 5,009 voters Griffin wants removed from Supreme Court vote count? They're residents in 4 of the bluest NC counties (Buncombe, Durham, Forsyth & Guilford). And the ballots being challenged come from 5x more Democrats than Republicans.

Democrats nearly five times likelier than Republicans to have ballots tossed out in key Supreme Court election dispute
Griffin has asked the North Carolina Supreme Court to prioritize removing ballots from a group of military and overseas voters who are disproportionately registered Democrats.

My new rule: If you're out here saying Dems must do something, you must specify *which* Dems you mean.

Do you mean elected officials/candidates & if so, at which level of office (b/c Dems in DC aren't gonna be able to *do* much)? Do you mean activists? Donors? Randos online? Be specific.
