Headlight laws, seat belts, even speeding laws are used to give police a reason to stop and ticket whole groups disproportionately to others as in white people. Also the ability to get representation is not the same for everyone.

I was going to Greenland this summer but I am too ashamed to take my American self there. I voted! I never voted republican in my long life. But I am so ashamed of all of us I don't want to go.

I see women who write these books gleefully call it smut. I hate the term when it's used for anything with sex in it but they seem to emphasize it being "smut" and want their readers to call it that, so I can't at all blame this on mainstream media.
