you too, eclipse. you are so vibrant and thoughtful and cool and you deserve warmth, appreciation, and support! and it has me feeling some type of way that I think this experience of coldness and distance is shared by a number of people in the space that I admire.

Being in a communal setting where I felt so supported, wanted, challenged (positive), nourished, and connected has really laid bare to me the degree to which I don’t feel that in some other areas of my life, the online ttrpg space being one of them. I need to really think about that.

Now, I normally don’t take this route but if he keeps doing it we’re gonna see how long my new mom lasts at being she/her before agreeing to stop being an ass.

So I’m gonna dip from the space for like a month* and find out what further realizations may come to me in that time. I may post about project releases but I’ll otherwise be making myself scare!

*If I am actively working on something with you I’m not dipping from that, I promise!

Something’s gotta give here because although there are many, many wonderful people making delightful and moving art, I’ve watched this industry demolish so many lives and spirits over the last several years. It took me the better part of this year to figure out it was doing that to me, too.
