This is pretty much exactly like a European saying the United States should be abolished, so that the governments of individual states can better represent their people.

We Europeans are in grave danger. Incredibly, this time the danger comes from the east as well as from the west.
Press: "What kind of concessions are the Russians going to have to make?"

Trump "Their big concession is they stop fighting and they don't take any more land."

Yeah. That's basically how surrendering works.

So CBS settled Trump’s lawsuit where he frivolously sued because they edited Kamala Harris’s interview so it would fit into their air time.

Then CBS does a 73 minute interview of Trump where they made big edits from the version that was broadcast.

They aired 28 of 73 minutes.

In the all-conquering media/politics ecosystem that brought you Brexit, Boris Johnson, austerity, Liz Truss & the recent revival of weapons grade racism, she really is the Newcomer of the Year. Hands down. And the Spectator is now owned by a man who basked in the ugliest depths of far right Twitter.
Lam took a bunch of X posts from far-right racists and so-called "thinktanks" and turned them into a policy that collapsed as soon as anyone actually read it/understood it.

Would have been an absolute travesty if she hadn't won!

Amy K rides again - straight to the heart of the truth.

Politics is only made a dirty word by bad politicians.

The UK Greens just proved it in a leadership contest with 0 besmirching, 0 negging, full mutual respect from start to finish, & membership is soaring. Surged right past the Conservatives.
Politics isn’t a dirty word, it’s the fabric of how we live together.

When people say “don’t make it political,” what they mean is “don’t make me uncomfortable.”

Everything’s political: who eats, who heals, who’s safe.
Privilege is pretending it isn’t.
