One of these days I will take another selfie. (I never will.)
I hear it’s some sort of Black Cat Day so here is mine (and his void-adjacent sister.)

I don’t know if the library systems can even edit the descriptions but why am I seeing hardcover details for an eBook? It’s completely irrelevant and this is at least the second time I’ve seen it in Libby.

Seeing the bros flip out about a woman being prominent in a Star War for the 12 billionth time.

I haven’t posted a cat pic in 5 months so here is Wren. She will turn a year old later this month.

Well, that’s an appropriately surreal end to TikTok for me.

Is this absolutely necessary? Can we just use the flavor names? These are so basic!

Speaking of… If a freaking AD is the first thing I see when I open your app, all I want to do is exit, not scroll. JFC.

Since we're about halfway through 2023, here are my two four-star reads this year.

The Terraformers by Annalee Newitz. Sci-fi, obviously. Really fascinating stuff. Has what feels like a kinda vintage-but-with-modern-values take on the topic. Love when you find one of these as a Kindle sale.
