kill me if I ever care about how do I make my boss happy, other than do the job I’m fucking hired to do.
Hassett: "The way to think about what AI & its agents can do is they can act as if they're the best coach you've ever had. And so while you're trying to figure out, how do I make my boss happy? It's like you've got a coach right there with you every step of the way."

Honestly why don’t the democrats try and sell universal healthcare as TrumpMd or some shit to get the republicans on board? #politics

I just read an article saying “Schumer announces health care plan” but the announcement was they were introducing a bill just for aca subsidy extensions. The democrats are seriously underwhelming. How about announcing something actually worth a damn for once?

@dancarlin.bsky.social dan I just re-listened to your radical thoughts episode of HH. Do you think that the current political climate is entering a 3rd redscare?

Crazy how the state of Texas is going to monitor people’s social media posts for negative comments about a dead social media influencer. I understand free speech doesn’t mean free of consequences but surely it means free from the STATE firing you because of it?

My little one is about to go high school! Can’t believe how time has flown by.

Oof just got a call from a buddy who was apparently arrested last night. Neat.

Trying to work through Kaiju Battlefield Surgeon right now. It’s certainly a much darker story than Dungeon Crawler Carl.

Buffalo hunter hunter complete! It was an oddly gripping read. Vampire story but not overly horror based. Tale of revenge and absolution. Solid book and you should definitely read it. 7.5/10 #books #booksky

I finished Blood Meridian last week. It was a tough read. Typical McCarthy prose and grammar but the story arc and content were oppressive. I’ve been sitting on it for a few days and I’m still not sure how I like it. #books #booksky

Just finished Three Eight One by Aliya whitely on my nook. Currently trying to figure out what the hell I think about it but right now it’s a 5 or 6/10. Maybe it moves up a point or two after I’ve had some time to think about it. #books #booksky

Ok just finished “The Memory Police”.

Feels like there is something profound here but I can’t quite put my finger on it. It’s slow paced but absolutely worth a read. 7/10 #books #booksky

My kid just got done with her one act play for school and it was pretty damn good.

Coworker found these little dudes outside of his house. How lucky can you get

Still working my way through The Children of Ash and Elm. Unfortunately I’ve been side tracked watching the Vikings tv show at the same time 😂.

I think I’m going to start trying to throw in a non-fiction book every 1-2 fiction books I read. Since I just finished a fictional pirate themed book, why not try a non-fiction “pirate” book. I’ve been looking forward to this one. #book #books #booksky

Finished “The Adventures of Amina Al-Sirafi” by Shannon Chakraborty while waiting for jury duty. It’s a bit slow at the beginning and then takes a dive into the fantastic towards the end. Overall a solid book especially if you like sailor’s tales. 7/10 #books #booksky

So if the debt was really the issue. Why wouldn’t they cut spending while leaving the tax rates where they are in order to pay down the debt?

Seen this on lots of best of lists. Interested to see for myself.

Alright, just finished the Road. It’s definitely a downer but it is exceptional prose. 8/10.

Definitely going to need a lighthearted adventure as a palette cleanser. Not sure what I’ll read next but I’m open to suggestions. #books #booksky

Another one on the TBR down.
Lovecraft Country is an interesting concept. Jim Crow vs Cosmic Horror. Execution left a little to be desired, imo. Worth a read or watch the hbo series. 6/10.

I think now it’s time to follow the suggestions and read “The Road” #books #booksky

This is my last post for now on the Luka trade but unless something absolutely bonkers comes out that justifies the trade I will not be watching or going to any more games for the foreseeable future.
