I don't know if I dole out 5 star ratings too easily or it's just been that good of a year for movies. I gave Predator: Badlands 5 stars but it still sits at number 12 on my movies of the year.

This is how strong of a year for horror 2025 is - Black Phone 2 was really good and it doesn't even crack my top 10 movies of the year.

At the risk of you people saying - "alright Grandad" the Dark Side of the Moon thing they're playing on the dome at Stardome is Rad. I'd pay the 25 bucks just to hear the album played that loud to be fair but the visuals are pretty sweet too. Even without any psychedelics in ya system.

The choice to make The Long Walk (2025) a smidge less bleak and grueling by mixing in a dollop of Stand By Me/ The Body was a very good idea if you ask me. Take the edge off of Richard Bachman with a little Stephen King 👌
