Or at the very least bad politics. I'm not invested in gifted programs one way or t'other but I know people go berserk over these sorts of things

It's come up in Zohran Mamdani's mayoral campaign in NYC. I don't have a stake in that race and I'm not gifted but it's the sort of thing that one might just put a cork in until after an election!

Yes. Worst train episode ever and there's been many over a daily commute for nearly 30 years. Coulda gone even more horribly if it wasn't for those guys intervening.

Woman seemed shaken - she ended up in the second car. But was seemingly not terribly hurt. Weeping. Train limped into the station at Howard. Psychotic ambled off down the platform. Police showed up minutes late. Maybe they apprehended him? Maybe not.
