if you already have a 9800 or 9950, nah, probably not worth it just to get 3 more frames at shelter
however, if you're on a 7800/7950 or still back on AM4? think about it..................

- 9950X3D2 trades boost freq for a full 96MB of L3 on both CCDs (assuming an equal share)
- 9850X3D somehow ekes out 400MHz more without affecting TDP
9850X3D will probably take the lead in my VRC builds, 9950X3D2 will be "honorable mention" for hybrid workloads
