Being honest, this is part of why I LOVE Absolute Bane. He’s immense, towering even before Venom… and frighteningly intelligent. He knows ways to break you that don’t involve your back, knows your weaknesses to exploit them in the most monstrous ways possible. Scott Snyder hit a home run with him.

And let’s also not forget that, based on some cursory research, the Irish version of the werewolf, the faoladh, was a sort of guardian for children and the wounded, so they’re not just rage monsters!

Man, wouldn’t it be sick if someone made a Warcraft TTRPG? Like, it could be a DnD, Pathfinder, or Daggerheart setting, it could be its own system, it’d be cool! I’ve heard such wonderful things about the lore, but just can’t bear to engage with the current material.
