The Carney government thinks that deregulation and cutting public sector jobs will solve soaring unemployment.

This is modern-day bloodletting. Bad policies based on a bad theory.

“Using quantum”

This from the Carney Liberals on their G7 priorities is pure hype and a deeply unserious way for a government to speak.

Only an economist could get away with it.

Is this as bad as it sounds? Because it sounds like it is granting pretty sweeping power of search & seizure without a warrant.

The Conservative plan claims that tax cuts for the richest 0.13% will actually INCREASE revenue.

This nonsense has been disproved again and again and again.

I’ve always contended this pyramid the Liberal government used to visualize its climate strategy is upside down.

The 15% fall in $TSLA means the company Musk did not found is down 11% since Trump was elected President. At one point, it was up almost 100%.

The S&P 500 is down 2% since the election.

Canadian corporations are already holding on to the extra markup they claimed during the pandemic-induced inflation.

At least Apple Maps isn’t peddling Trump’s culture war idiocy.

Hey, Google Maps. Fuck off with this bullshit.

Read this book to understand how we can simultaneously deal with Canada’s
✅ climate crisis
✅ housing crisis
✅ sovereignty threat
✅ poverty and plutocracy.

Even if this is due to under-resourcing before Musk/Trump, their slash-and-burn agenda will only make this worse.

Don't fall for meganumerophobia—the fear of big numbers.

The 2023 federal deficit is only 2.1% of GDP, the same as in 2010.

This chart is an indictment of the US for-profit health care system.

All of those lost years are the cost of profits being claimed.
