Quite impressive that ChatGPT knows how to make a nuclear bomb - presumably not publicly available info per the report below - but doesn't know what the first trade paperback DC Comics published is, despite this being very easy to verify with <1 minute of Googling
this is quite the detail

Alan Moore
I asked this before over at The Old Place and the answers delighted me. So again:

Who is an artist you admire who you suspect would not like you if they met you personally?

I think Peter Dinklage is fantastic. I would absolutely get on his last nerve. He'd be looking for the door while we spoke.

Bill Bixby is still the BEST (David) Bruce Banner actor ever. He brought total conviction, dignity and tragedy to the role. He never phoned it in or hammed it up. Like Christopher Reeve made us believe a man could fly, Bill Bixby was totally a man you wouldn't want to make angry.
On this day in 1977, the two-hour television pilot of The Incredible Hulk - starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno - aired on CBS. The program would run for five seasons until 1982, followed by three made-for-TV movies on NBC beginning in 1988.

Kind of baffled to discover Return of the Jedi wasn't shown on UK TV until Boxing Day 1989, 4 months after Batman came out at the pictures. We didn't have a VCR but I feel like I'd already seen RotJ a ton of times by that point? How or where, I've no idea

'...We Are Sex Bob-Omb' from the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack and 'Unlock' by Sonny Vincent & Rocket From The Crypt feature exactly the same riff, in the same key, were written, recorded and released at roughly the same time, but apparently are completely unrelated to one another?

Last issue of New History of the DC Universe out today. Twice as long as the Wolfman/Perez original and not even half as good. Was really looking forward to this but it's mostly been a dud sadly. Glad we got those incredible Scott Koblish variants at least.

Finished watching Alien Earth - a real mixed bag there. The bits that cribbed most heavily from the previous films (Olyphant, Ceesay, Edmondson, the stuff on the ship) were pretty good. Some of the other stuff (the main A plot, unfortunately) were borderline dreadful.

29 covers (so far) for Batman/Deadpool #1.

Assuming some (or all) of these 10 retailer-specific covers will come in copy-free and black and white variants, this will probably end up beating Detective Comics #1027 for 'Grant Morrison comic with most variant covers'

Max Lord and a random ULTIMATUM henchman > worse than Hitler, confirmed
Leaked panels from Marvel and DC's upcoming Captain America / Wonder Woman crossover

Spoiler alert, I guess

I am truly aghast

(I'm told the scene ends with Hitler killing himself while Cap and Diana bicker about their [NONEXISTENT!!!] "No-Kill Rules," but I haven't seen those panels)
