If you are a patron then your library needs to serve you too. Libraries need to provide for their whole community.

How can you find like minded people in your community? Does your library have book requests and program proposal forms? Use them, consistently, to get them to shift. Get others who share your values to do the same. Join the Board or Friends group and be the squeaky wheel.

Engaging with your library is how you get it to reflect your needs. If you don’t use it will stay far right. It is your library!
