Same thing for note name prefixes/suffixes:

You can define the associated folder for each note type, and leverage different expressions that are evaluated dynamically. Great for auto-organizing your notes

Proud to be teaching Knowledge Management to people all over the world ❤️

In Obsidian Starter Kit v3, I've gone all-in on @obsdmd Bases.

I'm also investing in better tracking my health.

I'm going to capture various pieces of information through daily notes, and I'm going to use Bases to make it manageable over time.

This is getting serious. We found our wedding rings.
(the real one will have the right size 😂)

Lastly, there are “Recently Created” and “Recently Modified” views that simply list the notes that have been created/modified most recently that (might) have some relationship with the current one:

And there’s a similar “Following Periods” view:
September 23, 2025 at 8:40 AM
The “Previous Periods” view shows the n previous periods corresponding to the current note.

For example, for a Month note, it lists the n previous month notes. Same for days, weeks, …

The “Same Time Previous Years” lists all notes that happened on same period (e.g., day/week/…) from previous years:

The “Same Type” view lists all the notes of the same type by relevance:
September 23, 2025 at 8:40 AM
The “Tags” view lists all the notes that share tags with the current note:

A second view that is included that Base is the “Mentions”. That one lists all the other notes that mention the current one directly (i.e., that have links pointing to the current note).

By default, it lists all the related notes, independently of their type, and sorts them by relevancy.

Love where my "Related" Obsidian Base is going:

Thanks to @kepano for the idea ❤️
Now I'm going to add various views to explore relations around time, tags, and other dimensions :)

Similarly, I added a dedicated view for “key events”:
Those are your most precious memories ❤️

I’ve also included a “Gratitude” view, listing all notes that have associated gratitude "Dots" (small notes capturing breadcrumbs about your past):

Or look at everything at once
September 16, 2025 at 9:20 AM
You can also explore your meeting notes
