Take an object of arbitrary length. Break into 2 pieces at random point along it. Select one of the 2 pieces (at random) and define it as length 1. Use it to find the length of the other piece. Sum the 2 lengths. Repeat. Select those with sum of 2 and Examine the length of the pieces
