Today in #homeschooling, we learned about Paul Klee, who created over 10,000(!) works of art. We read how, at best, only 10%--for a professional artist--will become masterpieces.
A reminder that in #writing #kidlit too, most of my (not-to-be-published) work will still shape my future best pieces.

Yes, my 8yo knows the Pythagorean Theorem. Amazing example of how books teach kids through story. Not only will they understand it better, they'll remember it better. There’s always a great discussion hiding in every #picturebook . Whole discussion about what sensitive means, how to judge what is “normal” & what is more than? Then he pulled out a dictionary, of his own accord, because he was curious. #Picturebook for the win!(2/2)
