Im also going to reiterate that threatening to vote for a party that allowed a predominantly Black city to drown in 17 feet of flood water in 2005 and assume blind allyship from Black Americans once said party assumes power again is also a moral failure and a strategic mistake as well.

What we were trying to tell the young Black folks running behind their leftist friends was that past 60 years of progress in this country were the anomaly. The reality of this country is most of its history (200+ years) is made up of what Trump is doing now. We always knew how fragile progress was.
