I'm not sure if social media is the problem or if we're just in a different era when people feel speechless a lot of the time about everything that's happening

I gave up in recent years and started making a video about anything I was hoping they would read. The best students still read, but the others won't, I think.

4/n ...I'm so lazy that I hired a teenager from the church to come over for a couple hours on Sunday afternoon to scan the barcodes on a bunch of my books with a cell phone. He did about 200 of them, which was a good start.

3/n I was impressed with Gemini's ability to read the titles and authors of legal treatises on my bookshelf from a phone pic! CAUTION: When I ask it for all the details about the books, about halfway thru the list, it starts making up fake ISBNs, which won't surprise the AI haters here. Oh well.

2/n ...If I take a phone picture of a title page (or even of an entire section of my bookshelf), Google Gemini can usually tell me all the info about the book(s) to complete the fields in @libib.com. I wish I had a way to get Gemini to make entries directly into my Libib account for me...

The court relied on this to conclude: "Because there is a fair and reasonable avenue for Reynolds to seek restoration of his right to keep arms, the argument that the dispossession is unconstitutional because it is permanent necessarily fails."

Thus, 18 U.S.C § 922(g)(1) doesn't violate the #2A.

Not an Illinois expert, but I believe there are some federal IRS regs about this as well for nonprofits that receive federal tax exempt status. At least there were a few years ago when I was teaching a course on nonprofit tax exemption every year.

I'm a new user of the app. I wish there was a built-in AI feature for recommending titles from the collection for specific research topics.

Have you watched Lucky Hank? Sounds a little like that?

I've had arguments with my AI. As recently as Sunday. It was over video editing. It was telling me it was incapable of doing something it had done the day before perfectly well.
