And in what way did capitulating help anything? Did it suddenly make trump and the GOP stop trying to withhold food, funds, and healthcare? No. It just showed them that Dems can be bullied into giving up

Yeah, they kind of awoke a sleeping giant on this one. I can tell you, for one, that I NEVER wanted to know this much about politics, but since they are forcing me to I'm going to make damn sure they regret me learning this much about politics

As long as there are people like you helping to be the voice against that hate, it can at least lean towards getting better, and for the lifetime you and I exist in unfortunately I think that's the best we're going to get. It's a long road, but it only gets shorter when we choose to walk down it
