The rooster sound used by @hellobuglers.bsky.social is exactly the same sample as the one used by Rednex in their track Hittin' The Hay.

Please don't ask how I've found this out.

@hellobuglers.bsky.social @zaltzcricket.bsky.social This vitally important bit of news just hit my device, I trust that The Bugle will include it in a future episode? www.theguardian.com/world/2025/a...

It would appear that the Blorko Tweet has now reached the realm of the engagement bait spam accounts.

The nerf to Young Ahamkara's Spine in the latest Destiny 2 patch is very upsetting. I had a lot of fun with that build and now it doesn't work anymore

I'm currently learning this song, but am coming up against the problem where my brain remembers the keys that I first heard songs in and therefore thinks that I should also sing this in B like Waterson:Carthy do (essentially, I'm singing it at the same pitch as Eliza and Norma).

This is a mistake

The conversations I have online are weird

I spent most of my run tonight thinking about this.

Bollocks.
I'm tinkering with the thoughts of another megagame design, based on Armoured Core - there's possibly some good design space in the "corporations send people off to do their bidding" idea that AC is built around. And also having massive mechs is cool

On a scale of 1 to incredibly good, how would you rate giving out mince pies to trick or treaters as a bit?

If you're interested in how megagaming has real effects, this Guardian article is pretty good: www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
What would happen if Russia invaded Finland? I went to a giant war game in London to find out
Here, military personnel, Nato staff and others are facing off in a simulation. The winners? Those who stop the world plunging into catastrophe. The losers? Us, if they get it wrong

The government continuing to refuse investment in public transport because there is a war on cars is the petrol equivalent of women speaking more than 20% of the time in a meeting and someone saying that they've taken over

It's fascinating to me that I'm still not defaulting to here as the place to go when I want to waste a few minutes of my time, and I'm still going to The Other Place.

Hello, I have now joined the new place.

Whether I'll stay... *shrug*. Depends whether I like the place!

I'm a software developer by day, ceilidh caller and guitarist by night. I infrequently run and play megagames (large scale 1 day board game/role playing events) too!
