If you see this, post an album cover with a motor vehicle on it.

That’s a very, very nice bike, the NC30 was always, and still is, my dream ride. Here’s me circa 1989 on my RGV 250 which was Japanese import spec, god I loved that bike.

It will be a UK thing if the wonderful Kenny Everett is involved, they did the Captain Kremmen music together as well.

Found out today there’s a death metal band with a parrot called Waldo on lead vocals.

Just thought I’d share this important discovery

Saw them at this gig in 93’, they were followed by Aphex Twin, we were tripping, let’s just say ‘challenging’ would be the right word.

Sadly no set list available for Test Dept, but some of the other sets are listed here

Post a team you would send instead of Bongino and Patel.

In the 80’s I was a fan of some fairly obscure thrash bands and I’d be supprised to meet anyone with a copy of either Anacrusis - Suffering Hour or Hexenhaus - A Tribute to Insanity

Love this style of 80’s trainer, I’m still buying Diadora Bjorn Borg Elites, just can’t shake the habit!

If you look closely you can see Laurent Garnier is playing it in this snap from The Hacienda 1988.

The only two years I went (stuck with just glasto after) were pretty cool.

How about Leslie Ash in a Boots advert.

Yeah, I have to say the background to it has not dimmed my love of the track. Also, the way it rolls into Then She Did, where he asks Xiola to say hello to his mum in heaven (she took her own life), not many songs get under my skin like that .

A classic from the good old days of Twitter that I still think about

I fucking love Hawkwind, and this is one of their best. Always loved the Brixton all nighters, such mad line ups.

He’s properly had enough of the heat.

Not heard of that Bee Gees track and wondered it was about. I was not prepared for google’s AI response.

Great read, really triggered a lot of great memories, the Hawkwind Brixton all nighters and Mega Dog nights are core memories of a very hazy time, that and the traveller field at Glasto with their 24hr sound system (until the big fence went up and they were no longer welcome 😕)
