And then turning on Joe! I gasped. A bunch of muppets is the only conclusion (unless it was very cleverly edited afterwards).

💯 Agree thou, great series!

How did they not spot at the last round table that cat and Alan were on the same side!!! (And don't start me on Alan's inability to say he was a faithful the night before without the giggles).

💯 such a shame the curriculum is such a turn off. Especially when (in our experience) the teachers don't have a passion for it either.

I wouldnt waste your time, surprised they moved on from their etch-a-sletch, given the quality of argument so far.

Just had a look at your arboreum research, that's so cool! I did a load of work with clang asts for VR a few years back. Are you still working on it?

I don't think industrial control software requiring XP is the argument you think it is. I mean, lets be honest, xp!?

And yes there will be software that only supports one OS, again this doesn't detract from the argument that windows is no longer fit for purpose.

Without specifics hard to know what you're actually referring to.

For me, Linux does everything I need for work (and most times better than windows) same goes for Mac (with way better privacy!). Legacy is all that's keeping windows alive, and Microsoft seem hell bent of ensuring people move on.

And whilst I understand the ads and the subscriptions are necessary, given that the OS is essentially freeware now. We must also be allowed to determine it's no longer fit for purpose (as a trust worthy os). And is only surviving on legacy market share...

I can see your doing your best to support windows, but surely you can see the enshitification (and frankly greedy) of Microsoft has reached well past tipping point. Stability, security, safety and privacy have all been pushed aside.
