I currently build up annotated diagrams/drawings under the visualiser to help students visualise processes that they can't see to help support my explanations of biological processes. I might model practical techniques or how to approach answering exam questions 1/2

Leaf starch test, diffusion with skittles or agar gels, fermentation in yeast with conical flasks and balloon.

Any advice to support those B/C borderline students at A-level. Have implemented retrieval practice...collecting in scores shows improvement in this area. Also carry out weekly maths/graph/evaluate skills exam practice as this is an area of weakness but still struggling to get them over that line.
