Yes, but change “Republican“ to “Capitalist“ cuz it’s not just one party but the profit motive of the whole system (which both parties are bound to).

Been a lot of discourse in the past few days around nonviolence vs violence during protest, particularly in regards to the protests in LA. I wouldn’t go as far as to dismiss this as a false or counterproductive debate as there absolutely is a place for that question...

Every Union at Columbia (and unions at other colleges for that matter) should go on strike in solidarity with Mahmoud Khaili and all students in danger of facing Trump's repression, with the demand of Mahmoud's release, as well as taking up the demands of student protesters.
There are approximately 6,000 unionized workers at Columbia, including 3,000 grad/undergrad student workers. The university’s repression of anti-genocide protests has directly led to the Trump regime’s seizure of Mahmoud Khalil.
It cannot be business as usual.
