This reminded me of the early 80's when defence s/w was forcing us to move from C to Ada and there was a consequent backlash in the other direction. I remember hearing the phrase "strong typing is a crutch for people with weak memories" shouted loudly.

It's horses for courses, === is a useful thing to have in a weakly-typed language. Once you know why it's there it becomes a tool just like any other. btw, even after s/w engineering for 40+ years I've yet to come across the perfect language.

When I look at a robotic approximation of an animated face, I look at the blink first, and it's always wrong. Humans don't blink just using up and down motion of their eyelids. There is a sideways motion as the muscles contract towards the nose.

I was blown away by both of these, so impossible to decide.
I've tinkered with a few of your models on ShaderToy in the past, but I can't even see how you started this one.

Or you could try chatting with a LLM. Discourse is what they were intended for rather than world domination.

Even when new, the case was full of chips.

RX 5600 XTs? I guess from the use of a pressure washer, these guys are just going to sell these for reclaimed metals.

I'm just a simple man, but it reads as though they're getting energy from fresh water moving to salty water, just a short distance away from a plant putting energy into moving fresh water out of salty water.

One of my RPi4s is still going strong as a home intranet and file server, although there is an RPi5 waiting impatiently on the sideline.

'Generative AI' is nowhere near distinct enough to use as a pejorative term. My own research is in generative mechanisms that enable patterns to be found in the large datasets posited by the OP.

If you want specific terms use the company names that are pushing the junk you're referring to instead.

These images still give me nightmares. As a noob, fingers reaching under the HT insulator to decouple the spring wire without discharging first ...

That last sentence is key. We all have a limited time on this Earth. The value of handmade is represented by the value of life itself.
