Being seen and visible is so critical during these oppressive times. We will not back down. ✊🏽 Our book “See Me”, reminds us that gay and trans Latinos are a force to be reckoned with. It is now available on Amazon. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

FYI I’m looking for PhD students interested in decolonial trans* feminisms; queer/trans of color critique/Latinx feminisms, & abolitionist perspectives in education. University of Utah Dept. of Education, Culture, & Society. PhD Apps due Dec 1st.
Maybe it’s AI or lack of mentorship, but MA and PhD applications are too general. Please make sure you name the scholars and their research in relation to your interests in those applications! 🌈🎓

On Transgender Day of Remembrance we honor those lost to anti-trans discrimination and violence. Today, we recommend donating to local and national organizations that support trans people, for instance Boston based org BAGLY which works with LGBTQ+ youth:

Always honored to teach students who are committed to changing our communities. How will you support LGBTQ+ asylum-seekers today?
