A new study finds that for rural breast cancer patients, living farther from care is associated with prolonged time to surgery (TTS). But rurality itself—independent of distance—is associated with shorter TTS.

Black women are currently 0.8% of full Professors in US medical schools.
Black students represent about 4% of the MD-PhD candidates in US programs with significant attrition in these numbers regarding how many of us stick to it and try to make a career out of it.

As we watch all mention of diversity actively get scrubbed from the NIH website in real time it's important to know that, we were not taking over anything, we were just trying to exist.
- Only 2% of NIH R01 grants are awarded to Black investigators.
The goal is total erasure/elimination.
