Proof Spacey isn't always derping/sleeping ❤️❤️❤️
My sweet old greyhound Spacey turned 12 yesterday
Apparently that's equivalent to about 78 for a dog of his size. He mostly spends his days lounging around with his tongue derping out, but he still gets pretty excited for his short morning sniffari around the neighbourhood

Galgo are a Spanish greyhound breed
I've had pet greyhounds in my life for the last 4 years and they're incredibly sweet, gentle and lazy dogs (perfect for academics!). I'm feeling for the Galgo dogs in Spain and am grateful for the rescue groups working to protect them

One small benefit of having one dog (Spacey) recovering is I can more easily take photos during walks (and my other much more energetic dog poppy is enjoying longer walks too)

Yesterday my sweet 11 year old greyhound Spacey went in for what I thought would be a minor procedure to treat an issue with his paw (corn), and ended up needing 3 paws treated plus a big lump removed.
Lucky he's a certified brave boy and recovering well today despite cone of shame
