Trauma; trauma informed; attachment; mental health
We are running a study on how childhood experiences such as trauma relate to negative symptoms of psychois. Anyone over the age of 18 can take part in the survey; you do not need to have had any of these experiences.

Very proud of our latest paper exploring views of informal caregivers of people with a primary brain tumour. It has been something of a labour of love to ensure their views are represented.

Timely word of the day.
Word of day is ‘unasinous’ (17th century): united in stupidity.

A riff on ‘unanimous’: which comes from the Latin for ‘one mind’. ‘Unasinous’ means ‘one ass’.

This book is absolutely worth a read. Beautifully written, open and honest, it has the potential to open up debates on both sides and play a role in accepting mental illness as unproblematically as we accept physical illness.
Finally published today! My heart is in my throat, but I hope that some of you will read it and find it interesting.
And I’d be very grateful for any reviews (Goodreads, Amazon…)
