A little ibis appreciation, I banded this bird in 2007 as an adult (>3yrs old), so she is at least 20yrs old! The deep red colour under her wings indicates that she is breeding, is it her 20th clutch or 60th - they can breed 3 times in a season

Baby brush-turkey, a couple of days old, adjacent to a busy road = urban living. Lots of people haven’t baby-turks because they are often more cryptic & flighty & they don’t look like the adults
