When I was a kid, I fell into a river and a fish bumped me out. I was supposed to die. But a fish bumped me out with its nose. That was the earth telling me I'm supposed to do something great. And I know that's the Driving Crooner. It has to be.
Your agenda might be believable if you'd have left Breece out but I don't see the argument for how Achane is more injury prone than Breece.

Also focusing on making billionaires the enemy would shift blame from "white males" to "billionaires" which I understand is a circle on a Venn-diagram, but I think the messaging is important.

You've already touched on it in two other threads, but the Anti-Price-Gouging could have been huge, but got killed because it went against the status quo. (17/18)

It won't be easy, and dems don't have the reach and echo chamber that republicans do, but if we can show people how they will directly benefit from economic policies we may be able to cut into the pipeline. (16/18)

I understand that there are always going to be people who vote on a "Proximity to Power" basis and won't vote for the policies because they don't want equality, but I think this could be a path forward into cutting into the gains republicans have made. (15/18)

I'm not saying we abandoned social issues, I'm saying we have to find a way to write policies where the messaging is lifting all boats for whites, LGBTQ+, African-Americans, Latinx etc. (14/18)

I saw someone talking about energizing the base for the next cycle and whether AOC could be the one to do that. One of the responses highlighted that AOC, and to an extent Kamala, focus more on leftist social issues as opposed to Bernie focusing more on leftist economic issues. (13/18)

touted numerous Republican endorsements. NBC's exit poll is showing 5% of Rs voted D, and 49% of Independents, so it certainly wasn't a large amount.
I think the answer lies in Bernie's statement the other day about leaving the working class behind. That message resonates with people. (11/18)

candidate on us the last 3 election cycles.
With that being said we've seen pulling to the middle, even leaning right on some things hasn't helped. If there was ever going to be an election that independent/republican voters voted for democrats it was going to be this one, where Kamala (10/18)

from the 1st point, they are not receptive to identity/social politics. Again, not here to argue the merits of their feelings, but selfishly other people's rights aren't gettting them to the ballot box for dems.
3.) People are upset, and feel the democratic elites have "forced" their (9/18)

names. I WANT TO STRESS, AGAIN, that I'm not arguing the merits of what they're saying, but I think we need to acknowledge what they're telling us. They feel they are the scapegoat for the democratic party, just as immigrants are the scapegoat for the republic party.
2.) Sort of stemming (8/18)

I think a couple of the common themes are:
1.) They feel alienated by the democratic party, and the demographics the democratic party attempts to (6/18)

The reddit community isn't the cesspool X is, and requires people to put some sentences together rather simply 'owning the libs' with memes. While these views are certainly not my own, I think we all need to have some humility about what happened on Tuesday and listen to what they have to (5/18)

Misogyny and racism play roles for some and perceived economy for others (specifically their purchasing power as it stands today).
I spent a good portion of yesterday going through r/GenZ because I wanted to try to find some answers. (4/18)

So I'm taking these "voters swinging to Trump across the board" with a grain of salt because it appears that Kamala lost more voters than Trump gained.
Now there's obviously going to be a variety of factors as to why. (3/18)

Starting with the sheer number of votes, we see she's going to end up somewhere around 8-10 million less than Biden, while Trump is going to end up with about the same number as 2020. (2/18)

Hey Denny, new over here and wanted to say thanks for the content and being here!
I, like you, am very upset by the results. I spent the first day grieving a lot. The second day I wanted to start to look for answers. (1/18)
