GLP-1 drugs aren't the cure for obesity. Affordable access to fresh, healthy food, walkable cities, and Universal Healthcare reduce obesity in a sustainable way. The drugs are a band aid that stop working when you stop taking them, and you gain weight back.

So I tested positive for the HLA-B27 marker which is not great. My doctor ran an expansive autoimmune panel because my symptoms have been getting worse. Apparently the protein my immune cells are covered in is causing the cells to attack my healthy cells and not bad ones🙃
