2/2 a troubling reality both within & outside OK ; thousands of educators are entering classrooms without sufficient preparation in pedagogy. Being underprepared for classroom instruction also fuels burnout and later teacher attrition, perpetuating a cycle. How do we help? #ElemMathChat

I think we can work together with families to understand what real numeracy looks like… and give the important work of the primary grades the time it needs. Some folks rush to get to what they see as more important- the algorithms. That is not the way. #ElemMathChat
