Going back to Cena, pretty abominable they're doing his last match at Saturday Night's Main Event, the lowest tier of "special show" they do, and potentially with the smallest audience owing to the need for Peacock and such. Feels like a real Kirk Van Houten sendoff.

For me what's frustrating is how much there is to work with that's either ignored or relegated to midcard. Asuka menacing the women's roster; Dom being the best of both his dads; and the U.S. men's open challenge putting on bangers is their best stuff and none of it's in the main event scene.

And what's really weird is that the last two holders of the equivalent men's title have been wrestling every week in open challenges. Zero reason Giulia couldn't be doing this too. Let's you pull whoever you want from three different shows for the sake of good matches.

Playing devil's advocate here: it is sometimes jarring when a game has voice acting but it's like, the worst kind of hammy, Z-list anime-dub stuff. Hard to listen to after a while.

That's the only reason I would want to do away with the VO work in a game.
