My little apple tree had sooooo many apples this year. Apple jelly, dried apples, apple butter … I wish I knew what variety my apple tree is, but was planted by grandpa when I was small and I have no earthly idea.

I am hosting the Arkansas Living History Association’s doll for 2025. So far AliHa and my tin head doll,Elsa Dee, have been having all sorts of adventures. It has inspired me to do some creation on a small scale.

Ok yes I’ll admit I have a problem. But this is a delightful 1850-1860s sunbonnet with a HUUUGGGEE skirt. But if I don’t rescue these tattered sparrows with pretty feathers who will there be to tell their story. I really need to work on my sunbonnet book.
