Riddle this re EU/ Ukraine- often said in summer was Von Der Leyen, and co,agreed to Trump tariffs so they were able to keep DT on board re Ukraine. 'Cant risk a trade blow-up or DT will force Ukraine to settle' was calculus. Well now look. Ukraine to be forced into an appalling compromise anyway.

If it becomes acceptable to grab territory via military force, something that hasn’t been true since 1945, then tariffs will eventually come to seem very second order in terms of the implications for globalization.
