is if the Democrats, as they currently exist, are destroyed and replaced by an actual opposition party which represents and fights for what the majority of Americans actually need and doesn’t capitulate or whole heartedly support the interests of the rich and corporations. We need a people’s party.

and in a few years there will be MAGA 2.0 which will be even more racist, xenophobic, fascist, and theocratic than the current iteration and led by someone who is more competent and harder to stop. The only way that we can actually prevent the rise of fascism and the destruction of the country/world

If it was “obvious” as they say, then it wasn’t actually difficult to parse, was it. I think if someone genuinely is confused about what something means they’ll ask a question rather than give a correction.

I have City Code 20.12.140 bookmarked on my phone because of the number of times I’ve had people (mostly boomers) tell me that it’s legal to have their dog off leash in a park as long as it comes when called etc - they never believe me that that doesn’t apply to parks and insist I “read the law.”
