Anyway, the last thing I'll say is, I love that the devs made a rule that in 99% of cases, the xeno would never teleport. It means that if the xeno gets wind of you, it has to get to you first, giving you a tiny chance. Often you can hear it clanking its way through the air ducts towards you!🤣

I recall reading that in an earlier version, the xeno learnt from your play patterns, but it made the game incredibly unfun, because it would learn to check every locker and under every desk. 😵‍💫 Now, it takes the xeno a little while to consider looking in those places, giving you a fighting chance.😂

But yeah, it's an incredible achievement how the two AI systems work together: the Director AI kind of simulating the xeno's instincts , and the xeno's individual AI, simulating its senses and problem solving.🤔

Hahah, yes I was really shocked that he saw me under the desk. It must have been the angle. Most rooms in the game don't have that kind of view. He also spotted me peeking over some boxes from a similar distance.🤣

Sadly, pointing out hypocrisy will probably never convince any of those people, because they don't care. And they will post-hoc rationalise any clear hypocrisy anyway. It's not about logical and factual consistency. It's about in-group vs. out-group. Us vs Them. Exerting power on the less powerful.

Fascism is a self-devouring system, and it's endlessly ravenous. While it feeds heartedly on its enemies outside, it TRULY thrives off the enemies it finds within. Allowed to run its course, EVERYONE will become its meal eventually. The only way to truly placate it is if there's no one left.
