The letter firing me came from the Acting NIH Director, but I learned that cuts across all NIH institutes were dictated by the DOGE team. NIH leadership had no say in deciding who to fire.

The lives & livelhoods of billions of workers are threatened by extreme heat. At the India 2047: Building a Climate Resilient Future meeting in New Delhi, scientists, policy makers, and activists generated policies to assist workers, especially in the informal economic sector, adapt to extreme heat.
