A year ago the paperback edition of my book 'Rationality and Interpretation; On the Identities of Language' was published by Bloomsbury. It has made its way onto University library shelves around the world and in paperback onto Waterstones shelves at some branches. Also available @BloomsburyLing

The day was dawning
voices babbling
in the quiet morning.
The Great Silence
absorbed the noise
into its meaning.
Always silence
into which came the Word
that would write the world
where all will be returned.
The silence whispered the Logos
The original word
into which all others are shared.

The mystery of our universe revealed to the naked eye. At 6-00pm on the 12th January- Sunday evening, we see a full moon and if you look carefully slightly above the moon and to the right, we see Venus as the brightest of stars. This is Being & Motion in the world, is a sublime mystery and beauty.

The mystery of our universe revealed to the naked eye. At 6-00pm on the 12th January- Sunday evening, we see a full moon and if you look carefully slightly above the moon and to the right, we see Venus as the brightest of stars. This is Being & Motion in the world, is a sublime mystery and beauty.
This was the Winter sun rising over Sefton Park in the City of Liverpool on Christmas morning. I felt it to be a metaphor for the Light coming into the world. It felt very special and there were only one or two people at that hour to see it. We all wished each other Happy Christmas - btwn strangers.

Yesterday was the 4th Sunday of Advent. Heaven and Earth are now getting closer by the day. 4 candles are now lit and we are waiting to light the last one on Christmas morning. The journey is almost complete! Dave.
