There's unbreakable weapons??? 🤯 There's so much to do in this game, it's incredible. 😆

🙂 Do you have a favorite GBA game? Or favorite hidden gem?

I first played this game only a couple years ago, and I immediately bought it on cartridge and played through it four times.

I consider it to literally be flawless. 😩

I just played and completed it for the first time! 😊 It took me a couple tries to "get" it, but once I did I realized it really is outstanding!

As a new Sega Genesis owner, this game was recommended to me as someone who grew up with the NES.

I was able to beat it, and I loved it! 😊

This game keeps getting better and better. 😆

How many bosses are you aiming for in total?
November 8, 2025 at 2:06 PM
Yeah, that PING! sound effect always left me wondering if I was actually doing any damage... 😅

@retrobreak.co.uk FYI this AI generated site / account is in your Bluesky "gameboy" list (which is where I stumbled upon it). 🤔

If that's a list you curated yourself and you're not interested in AI generated content consider removing it. 😌

...I'm in the first camp. My online presence is pitiful. 😆 I'm just here to make friends and talk about old video games. 😌

Expectations are tricky. 🤔

You either do what you want, ignoring the fact that you may get little to no views.

Or you do what gets the most views, which may not be anything close to what you actually want to do. 😕

Ahhh the 90s. 😌😆

It's so cool! 🤩 And to clarify for people, you actually get to explore the forests in first person! 🤯 It's also the only official point-and-click adventure I'm aware of for the Game Boy.

I did a video review a while back if anyone is interested. 😊

I love the gag with the first boss. 😆 A baby ghost comes out. You beat him up and he runs away crying.

Then his dad comes out and you fight him. And then...

Grandpa ghost comes out and he's indestructible! But after a few seconds he just sorta dies from old age.

Can you beat it?? 🤯 I made it to the floor with the giant bird and gave up, but I really want to beat it someday.

Looks like the SNES version is the only one with that red devil final boss?? 🤔🤔🤔

Game Boy: You see the neanderthals enter the hut, then chase the women out one by one. There's a sight gag at the end where a large woman is chasing the last guy out of the hut (she is chasing him, the ol' switcheroo).

SNES: You see the neanderthals enter the hut and that's it. There is text explaining that, due to a lack of toothpaste, the men's breath is so bad it caused the women to flee. I'm not joking. 😅

It's very Nintendo of America. Much more child friendly.

...is seeing how they did the intro cutscene!

Arcade: Some neanderthals enter a hut and kidnap the women, dragging them out by their hair. There's a sight gag where the final guy is struggling because the woman he's dragging is very large.

Alright, you win, you honestly made me lol with this one. 😆
