Took the fuzzy gremlin to work.
Had a splendid time posing in our office's garden and confusing everyone used to seeing a colleague's Italian Greyhound dashing about amongst the leaves.

Finally washed and blocked my Nyx sweater (pattern by The Creabea/Rebecca Clow) and it's my new fave thing to wear.
It's oversized, it's fuzzy, and it was just as fun to knit this version as it was the first one I made last year. 🧶

Finally washed and blocked my Nyx sweater (pattern by The Creabea/Rebecca Clow) and it's my new fave thing to wear.

Slow progress on the sweater but watching the bulk of Apple Cider Vinegar has definitely helped.
I said when I started this I was excited for the sleeves. I lied. Learning how to tension bouclé put me off an entire chart back. It'll be worth it, but I can already hear myself cursing Past Cia.

The dog's successfully managed to occupy all the seat cushions on our corner couch.
But it's okay because she left me her fancy fuzzy donut bed to sit in. It comes with free twigs and shards of yak cheese, so of the two of us, I'm obviously winning.

Today we discovered that cats exist, our neighbours across the road own one, and - most importantly - it's probably a complete dick and threat to our wellbeing so must be verbally abused from the window at high volume.

Something about starting the day on a small win, so hand-winding 400yds of mohair lace yarn before you've even had one sip of coffee. ☕
It's a gentle start to the day but the fear of tangles or Freya deciding it's a rope toy/one of her balls adds a delightful sense of peril to proceedings. 🧶
