Antifa in the US *did* have an actual organization. It was an outgrowth of Anti-Racist Action.

Wild how all this antifa freakout is just the federal government beating up on a few anarcho punks and skins who spent decades street fighting racists and neo-Nazis.

It has been 6 weeks since the surgery, and now I've ended my period of intense recovery. As a treat, there's an insanely intense hardcore show in town tonight. I promise to mosh lightly and not push myself to much. 🤘

A tragic quote rolls around in my head with every campus shooting: "I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights." A tragic yet popular political calculation.

Supermarkets and big box grocery stores stocked to the brim with affordable food could not occur without labor exploitation, particularly non-citizens. Mass food consumption emerged because of this abuse and thrives because of it. In other words, we eat thanks to their terrible working conditions.

Really @historians.org!? No, not "most," it is all historical educators. We are not overwhelmed by AI tools. We hate them because they are being forced on us and they are giant stealth machines that rob students of their ability to develop the key skills college is supposed to teach.

Hey, did I predict today's historian discourse or what?

The banger's embrace, this rhapsodic transcendental state, a pack of raging troglodytes!

Please assign this book to your students! I'm begging you! The white power far right dominates discussions of the family again. Your students really don't know anything about family history. All they know are racist sexist lies. Heck, assign it in your physics classes!

Well it happened. I can no longer claim to have never stepped foot pin an Ivy League campus. Elite academia, here I come! (I didn't see much ivy, so maybe change the name?)

Workers are calling for a consumer boycott of several brands over the charge of ecocide. Historically, boycotts work when workers call for them and partner with consumers to force change.
